Raleigh, NC — Peace College (9-13, 5-11 USA South) defeated Greensboro College (7-14, 5-11 USAS), 57-49, at the Hermann Center on Saturday. Pride freshman Bianca Richburg (Hillsborough/Orange High School) notched the only double-double on the day with 17 points, 10 rebounds.
Nikki Wilborn (Graham NC/Graham) tallied 11 points, six assists, and seven rebounds in the loss. GC led 27-24 at halftime. In the second half, however, The Pride shot just 25-percent (7-28) to the Pacer’s 48-percent (13-27).
Leanne Horne had a game-high 20 points for PC.
The Pride next hosts unbeaten Christopher Newport next Friday night.
