The current ACC men’s basketball standings and Dino Gaudio for ACC Coach of the Year

If we went ahead and voted today for the ACC Men’s basketball Coach of the Year, Dino Gaudio from Wake Forest would have to win the award, hands-down…..Just look at the that Wake Forest record/mark at #2 in the league going (18-5/8-3) and all of this, after losing Jeff Teague and James Johnson, who both left school early for the pros…..

Dino Gaudio ACC Coach of the Year…..Any arguements?????

Maybe a few Tony Bennett(UVA) fans out there??? Maybe some Seth Greenberg(Virginia Tech) soothsayers out there, or Gary Williams(Maryland) followers possibly?????

It’s Dino Gaudio and we all know that is the FINAL ANSWER!!!!!

  1. Andy,

i agree 100%. Dino has done a great job this year and I think this team can make serious noise in the Big Dance. He has them playing tremndous team ball and great team defense.

    Go DEACS!!!

  2. I remember last year when Dino got to the NCAA tourament he had that deer in the headlights look like he was scared to death and his team played like it also, my vote would go and it should go to the man in Durham Coach K, he has less talent than Dino but look what he has done this year without a true point guard, the man makes adjustments and turns out a winner in 1st place in the conference, give him his due Andy. Dino needs to prove himself in the touraments before we give hin any awards, it could be a one and done again this year.

  3. You cant overlook the job Bennett has done at UVa. Mark my words and watch what he does with that program over the next couple of years…talk about the deer in the headlights look…some of the rest of the conference coaches will not see this one coming!

  4. My vote will go to the winner of the Wake-Va. Tech game tonight. I think Greenberg has also done a great job with less name talent—–his.
