Eastern Guilford had eleven players to score in the firts round tournament win
against Mcmichael 70-32. Coach Tina Gunn was able to allow her reserves to play
nearly three quarters of the game and they got the starting nod as a reward for
their hard team work all year.. They produced 38 points. They were led by first year
junior forward Tierra Smith who had her second double digit scoring game with 10 pts
and 7 rebounds. Freshmen Whitney Parks had a career high of 6 points and Freshmen
Autum Rumley scored 5 points as she was nearly perfect from the charity stripe
going 5 of 6. Freshmen Jonquil Smith led the reserves with 8 rebounds. Kristin
Crosby and Miranda Jenkins led all scorers with 12 points each in very limited
action.
