Sounds like a great team to represent Greensboro! What league will they play in AAU, USSSA, American Legion?

  • Summer Ball said,

When is Justin going to announce his 19-U team?

  • Rupert Murdoch said,

As son as he has cleared the announcement with the Major League Scouting Bureau.

  • Buster Hymen said,

They have a 25 man roster with 19 D1 (ACC types) players and 11 of them are pitchers. Word has it that they will be building a separate area for professional baseball scouts to watch them and will have purple stop watches to give scouts when they visit the first time. They also have a shoe deal with Mizuno, a bat deal with both Louisville Slugger and Easton, and a glove deal with Rawlings.

  • William Eades said,

Buster, where did you get that information? That’s pretty strong for sure. It sounds like they are going after that elusive palomio national championship they have been after for a while. Did they lose in the final game last year/ I know they had 7-8 D1 pitchers on their roster the, so they should be even better this year.

  • Summer Ball said,

Justin does a good thing for these kids…….the only problem I have is the Greensboro Palomino League, does not play Palomino Baseball. So, the other teams do not have the opportunity to make it to the Palomino World Series.
