  1. I was at the game tonight. Aaron is an absolute machine. He hustles, he makes plays, he scores, he plays phenomenal defense
people say he’s not big enough to play D1. Tonight he made multiple jumpers over 6-5 opponents and an
absolutely incredible three point play whe being basically tackled by a huge 6-5 240 guy. Any college would be
    lucky to have him

  2. Now, there’s a name form the past—takes us back to the days when we had two public school athletic associations—now, there’s no way to keep the nchssa honest—-those were some good years for albemarle, thomasville, hickory, marion, etc.

  3. Good days indeed with more men like Skip Brown, Jerry Schellenberger, Rod Griffin, Gilbert McGregor, Norwood Todman and others…..Even to days of a kid from down East named Delaney Rudd……Wake names that can kindle and stir the cockles of your heart….

  4. You are correct, those were the glory days. We even got together for years playing softball in the triad ( Jerry was one of the best for Poindexter Lumber in W-S ) and playing basketball at central YMCA in Greensboro or in HP or W-S. Great days and I remember a lot of the old timers who played there for years.
    Mike

  5. Mike, you are a big part of that rich and storied Wake Forest basketball tradition and you have battled over the years and come out a winner and you deserve your spot up front in the lineup……

Keep up the faith and fight the good fight….
