  1. I didn’t even know that Guilford College had a JV baseball team. Maybe this was a split squad like they use in spring training.

Confusion causes us to think and ask questions…..

  2. it does not matter if it was jv or varsity they would have beat them as well. gtcc has a really good baseball team. those guys can play. they are by no way a push over to anybody around here. when season end look how many of those guys go div 1 or sign professionally.

  3. that 65 mph pitch is a good pitch . but just judging from your lack of baseball knowledge you have no clue about the game. ask tom glavine or greg maddox. that 65mph made them millions. if you know baseball that change up is the best pitch in baseball.

  4. dear gone fishing,
i even know about the 53 mph breaking pitch amd the 48 mph circle change—– the people you refer to made their money and were successful was their ability to hit the corners and to take advantage of the wide strike zone they were smart enough to use.

  5. every pitcher when you are at that level should be able to hit the corners. breaking pitch and the circle change are great out pitches but the change up is a common out pitch when it’s thrown with deception. yes you are right about the wide strike zone but not every umpire gave them that strike zone. those guys were good with the stuff they had. but as a hitter you had to know location was a big thing for those guys and they were masterful. and by the way if you didn’t hit corners you didn’t last long.

  6. this is a JV game but both teams are well coached and well represented in talent as well as a quality level of baseball. Please take time to see these young men play before you make assumptions on their talent level.

  7. Does anyone know when Proehlific Power is going to publish their 2010 Palomino baseball roster. I heard last week that they have a great group of players for this summer. I understand they have some ACC young players that meet the age requirement. I also hear that their schedule will be primarily collegiate teams. Does anyone know
