ACC men’s basketball standings heading into the last week of the regular season

It looks like Duke and Maryland and then the rest of the field. Coach of the Year and Player of the Year candidates????? N.C State and North Carolina battle it out for the cellar and Duke has another meeting coming up with North Carolina this weekend and then it is on to Greensboro next week for all the men’s teams……

Player of the Year still Scheyer or is it now Malcolm Delaney from Virginia Tech or even Greivis Vasquez from Maryland? Look at this:
SCORING Cl GP FG 3FG FT Points Avg/G
1. Malcolm Delaney-VT JR 27 155 50 192 552 20.4
2. Greivis Vasquez-MD SR 28 187 58 113 545 19.5
3. Jon Scheyer-DU SR 28 153 79 141 526 18.8

Coach of the Year going to Greenberg, Gaudio or Gary Williams? I bet there are some heavy Gary Williams nods coming up out there now…….

Paul Hewitt and Georgia Tech have really fallen fast……Looks like now that Tony Bennett left his playbook in San Diego…..Coach Roy Williams from North Carolina was over at Dudley HS again the other night; might we be seeing PJ Hairston and Reggie Dillard leaving high school early and going to Chapel Hill…..
