Eastern Guilford’s Josh Morehead named to East-West All Star football game

The football coaching staff at Eastern Guilford is proud to announce that Josh
Morehead has been selected to take part in the East/West All Star Football Game on
July 21st.

Josh was a 3 year starter for Eastern, making the NC Preps All State team
all three years.

This past season Josh made the move to QB and helped turn his team’s
season around, leading them to a playoff berth and within inches of upsetting the
number 1 seed and eventual state runner up.

As a senior Josh was selected to the all conference, all region and all area teams after compiling some impressive stats. He had 166 rushes for 1026 yard and 14 touchdowns, 58 of 121 passing for 872 yards and 11 touchdowns. Josh also led the team with 532 kickoff return yards with 2 touchdowns and had 4 interceptions and 1 more touchdown.

Josh will represent Eastern Guilford well. Good luck to Josh.

  1. way to go and good luck josh. you should have been invited to the shrine bowl. i’m sure there will be plenty of wildcats there rooting for you. we have had some good one’s at eastern over the years, but no player ever carried the team like you did this year. you deserve every accolade you get. take it to the next level!
