  1. Did North Forsyth loose two games within approximately two weeks to Northeast Guilford as the Rams made their run to the North Carolina High School Eastern Regional Finals?

    2/04/2010 Northeast 69 vs North Forsyth 53
    2/19/2010 Northeast 66 vs North Forsyth 59

That would suggest that there may be some good players on Northeast team as well as North Forsyth.

One could suggest that it was an exceptional coaching by Coach Curtis Hunter
who lost 4 players from his previous varsity roster to transfers:
Montay Brandon Kestrel Heights/High Point Weslyan
    Josh Barton Westchester Day Academy
    Antwan Wilkerson Western Guilford
    Skip McCleese Western Guilford

Coach Hunter took a team with as many as six sophomores and two first year varsity juniors to one game away from the championship, that would be further than any team in the district.

    No Coach award?
    No player awards?

Northern had more wins but Northeast had more big wins down the final stretch when it counted.
Northeast was in the Eastern Regional Finals. Did any other coach in the district reach that goal?

  2. Thank you CoachKnow. Coach Hunter and his Rams go pretty much under the radar all over this county and area.
