  1. I know the guys from ORMA are not satisfied with a third place finish
in the National Championship. But all in all they had a great year,
not bad for a team Coach K built from scratch .

  2. Are you kidding? National Championship? There is a national championship at the Spears Y today. They might be able to win it. When are they getting their rings for the “national championship”? I’m sure they declared themselves National Champions, even though the didn’t really win it and there is no such thing.

  3. They lost day two of the tourney because they had to suspend two starters for the whole game, and two other starters where suspended for the first quarter, for disciplinary reasons. But good season to say the least ready to see how next season. The only seniors this year for ORMA were Canty, and McCain and we all know were they are going. So everyone else will be back next year.

  4. The Y National Championship starts as soon as Stan gets there and makes up teams. He is providing rings to the winners.

  5. If this turns out be a National AAU tournament, you might be on to something…

The CP3 team with Reggie Dillard, DJ Alston and Jaquel Richmond would have to be a favorite in the 16’s and if they add Sam Hunt, then that could turn out to be a pretty tough lineup when you add in the fifth player…..

Greensboro Day and the Gater crew with Quayshad Williams, Jaleel Roberts, Robert Kleinmann, John Terry, Luke Thomas and company will also be likely to contend….

The ORMA 17-18 year-olds with Neal, Lawson, Rankins and Uchebo will also be hard to handle….

I don’t see Canty, McCain or Frye playing any more around here in the AAU’s or in the Spears Invitational….All three of those guys will be focusing on their college games now….

I wonder if anyone will pick up Jordan Weethe and Mitchell Oates for the Tournament????? Both of them can play and I bet that they could help CP3, The Gaters or The Cadets…..Tyquan Roberts is another player that could help one of these teams in the Spears Invitational……Brandon Hairston from Eastern Guilford and Reggie Perkins out of Western Guilford will also be ones to watch out for at Spears when they cut down the nets and hand out the rings….

I should round up Jackson Kent, Demone Harrison, Frankie Eaves, Desmond Harrison and James Summers and see how we could do…..If we pick up the Sweeneys and Krechaun Williams from Grimlsey, then we might win it all with our “Tears for Spears” squad…..Summers might not be able to join us, he might be working on football off-season now…….

Sounds like we have a chance to have a good tournament if we can get a committment on those Rings from John Cohen and the Carlyle Crew……

We will keep an eye open for the Carlyle Cup and watch to see who takes home/captures the family jewels……

  6. suspended what do u mean some thing never change. when have they ever had a problem with discipline? I think u might be making up things…
