Jeff Lebo apparently didn’t have to wait long for a new job, as the former Auburn basketball coach will reportedly take over at East Carolina.

The Daily Reflector has reported that East Carolina will announce a new coach on Tuesday after the school’s Board of Trustees meets, and the paper said Lebo is the choice of athletic director Terry Holland.

Lebo was fired at Auburn on March 12 after six seasons and a record of 96-93 with the Tigers. Auburn was just 15-17 this past season, including 6-10 in the SEC.

  1. Why do these universities continue to recycle sorry coaches!!! There are young eager and gifted assistant coaches out there that need an opportunity. This is how many coaches that ECU has hired in 10 years? Dave Odom up for UNCC? That is insane! Why not get someone who will bring energy and swag that will stay for at least 10 years to build something special for that community. Just curious.
