  1. SEG played well and Ragsdale was ugly. Ragsdale had as many errors as hits. Hodges threw 2 innings (after 158 pitches last week) then Carstens 1 1/3, Southcott 1 2/3, Sparks 2 and Anderson 1. No way Maness was going to pitch Hodges much or Stone at all with Glenn coming up Friday. That was as flat and unfocused as I have seen Ragsdale since I have been following them. SEG pitcher Kirkpatrick threw very well and went the distance.

  2. It was late and the game was no longer in doubt, but I thought Sparks and Anderson did a solid job out there on the mound for the Ragsdale Tigers…Sparks was in the dirt for the first couple of pitches, but after that he settled down and struck at least 5 SEG batters…..

Hodges was in the dirt coming to the plate way too much during his time out there on the hill for RHS and as Mike mentioned, he was very busy last week and Ragsdale stuck to the pitcher by committee tonight….

Very effective night for SEG’s Adam Kirkpatrick going the distance for the Falcons…
