HS Baseball Today 3/26/2010: SEG at Dudley the headliner

The Major Metro Matchup will get under way at just past 7pm at Dudley HS off of Highway 29 North and East Lee Street on Lincoln Street and it will feature:

Southeast Guilford(8-1) at Dudley(8-1)……
SEG is (4-0) and Dudley stands at (4-1) in the Conference….
For SEG will we see Ty Powell followed by Dylan Shutt, that’s what the Falcons came with last Friday night versus Southern Alamance and for Dudley will we see Tevin Neal early and then maybe later on maybe Eric Kimber or Corey Kimber out there on the mound?????

Should make for an exciting contest and it should be fun for the kids to go at it with two DI commits on the field in Ray Crawford(UNCG) and Josh Tobias(University of Florida)….. Many other talented players on each squad and all the fans in the area that follow these two teams can’t wait for the action to get started this evening…

Dudley and SEG were supposed to met 2 times last season(2009) and got rained out on both occasions….

Also on tap tonight it is:
Glenn at Ragsdale(7-1)…..Another major conference encounter….
Western Guilford(7-2) at Southern Alamance
Northern Guilford(6-2) at Morehead
*****If Dudley tops SEG and if Southern Alamance were to upset WG, then we could have a three-way tie, with three teams having just one loss each, at the top of the Metro 4-A Conference standings….*****
