Eric Phillips went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI to lead the Georgia Southern Eagles to a 4-0 victory in the rubber game of a three-game Southern Conference series with the Elon Phoenix on Sunday. Elon saw its record dip to 21-12 overall and 9-6 in league contests. GSU upped its mark to 17-15, 9-6. The Phoenix will take flight to Lynchburg, Va. for a 6 p.m. tilt against Liberty on Tuesday night.
