Every game, two or three guys work hard for about 40 minutes to ensure that the infield at NewBridge Bank Park is ready for baseball. Immediately after the visiting team finishes batting practice, these guys start dragging the base paths. They use a mini-tractor with a piece of fence dragging behind it, a hand rake or two and a water hose.
The goal is to make the material (mostly brick chips) as smooth as possible between the bases.
