  1. The NEG Rams defeated the Ledford Panthers 3-1; Now is only a 2way tied for first place in conference play with North Forsyth who they’ll take on Friday night @ NEG.
The Rams defense won the game for them they got hits when they needed it to. They now have played 3 error-less games

  2. Josh tobias suffered the loss for southeast guilford. adam came out with the lead in the inning before .

  3. Josh tobias suffered the loss . Adam Kirkpatrick Came out the inning before josh gave up the lead

  4. Good to see Duncan Everette get the win on the mound for Northwest. Northwest was in the lead 9-8 when the entire mess started. Sad to see some of the behavior being exhibited. We will leave it at that. Northwest played a very good game.

  5. GDS – forsyth game was a great game to the end. tommy king led off the game with a first pitch home run. from then on it was neck to neck. huston harrington threw a gem and came out in the 4th trailing by 2 or 3. J.wells finished the game. it came down to the bottom of the 7th with bases loaded and no out when the winning run was walked in.

  6. Good Win, you are correct. Umpire’s behavior was something I’ve never seen in all my HS years of playing, college playing years, and coaching years. Lots of umpires like to be the center of attention but last night was the worst I have ever seen. Kid steps out of the box to get a sign and the pitcher isn’t even on the mound and the umpire calls a strike?

An ACC official was there last night as well as another HS umpire and both commented they had never seen an umpire be so unprofessional.

After watching northwest parents and players in football and basketball I don’t you should be talking. And I do not have a kid in this.

  7. If the ACC official who was there last night was the former umpire, then you should ask some of the former and present ACC coaches and players ( from the area) about his behavior as an umpire. Not exemplary at all, but he was a good umpire.

  8. Eddie, I understand he is supposed to be one of the better ones. Unfortunately knowledge of the game and putting that knowledge in practice are two different things. While he did not determine the outcome, he chose to bring attention to himself at the wrong time. Something good came from it. The kids learned a lot from him about how not to conduct yourself. I spoke to several kids after the game ( I also spoke with a NW player I know who felt the ump had no business asserting himself in the game). None were too upset with him. They realized it was a small man with an ego and he’s not the last person they’ll meet in their life like him. And yes, most everyone knows his name.
