#2 Southwest Guilford(17-4)
#3 Western Guilford(12-6)
#4 Dudley(15-3)
#6 Northeast Guilford(13-3)
#6 Ragsdale(12-6)
#7 Northern Guilford(11-7)
*****There is still plenty of room for discussion with just one week remaining in the regular season….How do you vote in the Super Seven? Should Page be getting some consideration they are now (12-8) on the season and has Ragsdale fallen too far, too quick, in the poll???? They have lost 4 straight games since last Friday and they are running out of pitching and have suffered many injuries in the last 10 days…
Western is at #3, but they beat #4 Dudley twice and Dudley meets #5 NEG to settle their spots on Saturday afternoon…..Should Northern Guilford start moving up? They have been in the seven spot now for about seven weeks…….
Just a few thoughts as the poll starts to roll on this week and can any of our local Guilford County 4-A’s overtake West Forsyth or even East Forsyth????? Those two teams are now a combined (29-7) with West at (16-3) and East at (13-4), and West beat East 5-4 earlier in the season…..
It is all up for grabs, here late in the season…….
This is a great looking baseball poll that well represents some of guilford counties top programs. Andy, you have done another great job of using the head to head contest to determine who makes your poll. Am I missing something, has Northern decided not to play the other Guilford County schools in Athletics? They are in the same conference as Eastern Guilford who plays multiple county schools, but why have they decided to play weaker out of county teams?
