State Games Region 5 Ladies High School Softball Roster
WOW what a team!!! The Region 5 State Game Girls Softball team is loaded with
talent this year. Guilford County is located in Region 5. Other counties include,
Davidson,Randolph, Forsyth, Stokes, Chatham, Rockingham County, Caswell and Alamance County.
There are 8 Regional teams in North Carolina playing in the state games. They all play each other for the state game championship. Out of 80 + girls trying out in Region 5 only 15 make the team. From Greensboro making the team is Northern Guilford’s highly recruited shortstop Natalie Clemmons. She is just one of 15 equally talented young ladies representing this region in the state games.
The games are in Charlotte if you want to go, June 21-24 2010. They will be coached by Aldine Payne, newly appointed football coach at Glenn High School. Congrats go out to him and his family. He’s an excellent softball coach too and Region 5 is lucky to have him. Good luck to all of you!!!
