Andy- I went to my first high school game in a year Thurday Night. Ray Crawford from Dudley and Daniel Massey from Grimsley asked me to come to Dudley’s Senior Night. What a terrific atmosphere! The field looked great, the fans were vocal and just having a great time. It’s what I miss about coaching High School Baseball. I really appreciated the warm welcome I got from some of the Grimsley parents I haven’t seen in a while…Wendy and Dr. Massey, Beth Highfill, Mr. Dooley, Mr. Duda, Mr and Mrs. Stevens. It really meant a lot to me. Good Luck to all teams in conference tourneys and into the State Play-offs.

That’s a good note Alan and as you say, there are some great people at both of those schools and they know how to enjoy the game of baseball…

Dudley has really done a super job in setting the atmosphere for games at their place and again, it is a fun way to take in a game….

    Good report.

Anybody got a Southwest Guilford / Parkland score?

  • mo said,

SWG by 1 in the last inning on a passed ball. Parkland can play. No quit in those boys.

Way to promote yourself A.A. and let everyone know that you are so important to be invited to a senior night. I am glad you did I almost forgot you still lived in Greensboro w/o recruiting contoversy going on at the moment.

I’m guessing a lot of current GHS players and parents are wishing things were different. Losing isn’t fun.
