GREENSBORO, N.C. – North Florida’s T.J. Thompson hit a one-out two-run home run to left center in the top of the ninth inning as UNC Greensboro fell to the Osprey, 10-9, on Tuesday evening at the UNCG Baseball Stadium.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Dillon Hazlett and Ryan Graepel both drove in four runs as the 24th-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels turned back the Elon Phoenix by a 17-7 margin from Boshamer Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. It was the first loss in seven games against an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent for Elon this season.
The Tar Heels (28-17) opened up a 6-4 game by scoring 11 runs in its last two at bats.
