RALEIGH The departure of brothers Travis and David Wear from North Carolina’s basketball team rearranges the personnel mix, but it doesn’t change the areas that have to improve.
The Tar Heels will enter next season needing to get better in shooting, defense and ball-handling.
Even in what probably will be a weaker ACC – believe it or not – the Tar Heels will struggle to contend if they continue to shoot 40 percent on field goals and 65 percent on free throws against league opponents.
