The future of football combines is coming: “The Combine is Here”!(We have graphic, check it out!)

Athletic Republic of Winston Salem and Carolina Acceleration Sports Training – a proud member of the Athletic Republic – are pleased to introduce “THE COMBINE” (see attached information) . This Inaugural combine – camp – clinic is going to change how kids, parents, coaches and scouts see through the very flooded market of combines. Not only do the kids get “certified” electronic 40- and short-shuttle times-all with synchronized video, offensive lineman square off with a defensive lineman; a linebacker faces a running back; or a wide receiver takes on a defensive back in an individual showdown during the ONE-ON-ONE segment! These are often the best parts of a combine or camp. But these mano-a-mano match-ups have proven difficult to transfer to video as there is no telling who is going to step into the drill to face the next opponent. Add two-over-three and seven-on-seven drills and the video capture and player identification process becomes even more complicated. That is until Athletic Republic introduced Video Identification (ARVID) matched video testing capabilities with RFID technology to automatically identify every player, record every match-up and post every effort to the players’ online locker, so athletes can share their triumphs. Last but not least a 1 hour “COLLEGE RECRUITING” seminar.

THIS IS HOW IT WILL BE DONE:

Athletic Republic’s Event Management System is an outgrowth of the athlete assessment programs offered in our training centers. The system allows our trainers to evaluate each athlete’s capabilities before prescribing a training program. Athletic Republic’s Event Management System is the first to manage a football combine’s high athlete volume with a consistent and reliable gold-standard. Electronic timing synchronized with digital video validates performance results and incorporates a multi-media report for coaching feedback and video distribution.

To meet the time constraints and large numbers of participants, Athletic Republic’s Event Management System utilizes a Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) band worn by each athlete to automatic registration and identification at each testing station. The athletes simply “scan in” and run the test-the times and corresponding video are captured on both digital video and handheld PDA to ensure against data loss. Each of the athletes’ results are embedded in the video footage captured in real time. Once the athlete has completed their test, they can walk over to the testing station to see a replay with their results and get pointers from experienced performance coaches-immediate feedback they may transfer to their next effort. Then each clip is made accessible in an athlete’s private online Locker Room, a digital database hosted by Athletic Republic.

Athletic Republic’s Combine Management System debuted at the 2009 U.S. Army National Combine, featuring 500 of the nation’s top underclassmen participating in football skills and one-on-one drills. The system was enhanced for the 2010 National Combine held January 8, 2010 in the Alamo Dome in San Antonio as part of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Athletic Republic has created a private online Locker Room, where athletes can store all their athletic information, then utilize the tools provided to help organize and present their accomplishments and capabilities publicly through social media outlets, scouting services, all-star selection committees, Web site profiles, or via direct submission to a coach or university.

Enriched multimedia content from game films, to competition drills at
camps/combines, to “certified” electronic 40- and short-shuttle times-all with synchronized video-allows an athlete to build personal highlight reels and digital profiles that help get them noticed for their performance and work ethic on the field, court or ice.

  1. This is going to a great deal for everyone since Carmine and Carolina Acceleration is putting this on. He has a lot of close connections in the football community not just the baseball. I heard a couple areas big time guys will be there.

  2. Here is the link to register for the event: https://aims.athleticrepublic.com/ARcombine/NorthCarolina

    The cost is $85.00.

After this event the cost will go up 3-4 times that price. This combine will launch our Event Management System and our private online Locker Room for the North Carolina area. This is where athletes can store all their athletic information, then utilize the tools provided to help organize and present their accomplishments and capabilities publicly through social media outlets, scouting services, all-star selection committees, Web site profiles, or via direct submission to a coach or university!!

Staff members to include DeVone Claybrooks – former ECU standout, Ex-NFL Super Bowl Champ and current Calgary Stampeders, Dominique Midgett – former Wake Forest Linebacker, Jamal Edwards – former Florida St. Running Back, Cedrick Marshall – former Winston-Salem State Linebacker, Marty Redden – former Elon Lineman just to name a few.
