HP Wesleyan one win away from another State Championship

Semi-Final game:
Wesleyan 6
Charlotte Country Day 1

Wesleyan moved on to face Forsyth Country Day for the title. Game 1: a nail-biter, WCA won 4-3 with a walk-off home run by Senior Nathan Midkiff. Cam Hendrix also had a HR for WCA and Adam Griffen (FCD) hit one over the center field wall that is probably still going.

Game 2: tomorrow at 1:00 PM

  1. Coach Davis, Coach Brewer and one other have done a great job with this team. They made several of those kids better. Congrats. Keep it up.

    Coach Davis, Coach Pavlack & Coach Brewer are great. They really know how to motivate the players. If Coach Davis didn’t get the Conference Coach of the Year, he should.

  3. Wesleyan sweeps FCD in 2 games! Unbelievable team work by Wesleyan–new State Champions!!

  4. Conference Coach of the Year? That should be obvious. He should be in the running for state honors. He and his staff know how to get the most out of kids.
