GREENSBORO, N.C. – American Express is the new Official Volunteer Sponsor
for the Wyndham Championship PGA TOUR event, it was announced today. The
71st annual Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 16-22, 2010. It is the
final regular-season PGA TOUR event before the FedExCup playoffs begin.
The American Express logo will appear on all volunteer clothing provided by
the tournament, and tournament volunteers will work out of the American
Express Volunteer Pavilion located near the first fairway at Sedgefield
Country Club and across the street from the putting green. American Express
will also host an expo inside the volunteer pavilion.
