WWE News: Batista to launch an MMA career?

Jim Ross mentioned in his latest blog that Batista might try to start an MMA career. “I’ve heard some rumblings that when Batista gets healthy that he might try his hand in the MMA world,” Ross wrote.
“This rumor is FAR from official but I do know that Batista has been doing some MMA training and has a bona fide interest in the genre. This would be a huge challenge for Batista if he indeed attempts to compete in MMA at a high level which, again, is not a done deal.”
Jason Powell’s POV: I heard Batista was training a while back, but I just assumed he was just working out. After all, countless pro athletes have incorporated MMA into their training regimen. Oh, and the dude is over 40! I know some fighters still fight at Batista’s age, but it seems really late in the game for him to start a legit MMA career.
