Game one with #1 UVA vs. #8 BC….

Virginia 6
Boston College 4

Virginia is now (46-10) after the win today….

Virginia led early 3-1, or least that’s what the score was when I hit the Grand Stand, and then BC tied it at 3-3, and the Eagles went up 4-3 and then Virginia tied it back up at 4-4, before taking over the game with two more runs, in the bottom of the eighth inning…..

The Cavaliers win with a Felix Cavaliere-type effort and survive the Game One scare from Boston College and now the fans will turn their ACC attention to the Florida State-Miami game coming up at 4pm this afternoon…

Large crowd of school kids at the game, plus Boston College had a real nice cheering section set up right behind the first base dugout and they were very loud when BC made something happen…The Virginia fans were pretty well spread out and there were quite a few of the Orange and Blue-clad fans that had made the trek in from Charlottesville, Virginia, coming down the hills on and along Highway 29 headed South, to Greensboro….

As always Don Moore and Robert Stutts, were holding down the fort inside the luxury box, at the Cricket K/Z Zone in the Grand Stand, with help from ‘Diamond Dan” Grondy and other Pros who run the Show…..

Again, Virginia 6, Boston College 4 and Florida State meets Miami at 4pm at NewBridge Bank Park….
