There will be a 7 on 7 High School Football Tournament that the Holt Brothers(Torry and Terrence) are sponsoring at Eastern Guilford on Saturday June 26th.
Eight teams will be there starting at 8 in the morning. They will play 3 games in the morning and then a playoff in the afternoon.
The 8 teams are –
1. Eastern Guilford
2. Page
3. Grimsley
4. Southwest Guilford
5. Burlington Williams
6. Burlington Cummings
7. High Point Central
8. Dudley
*****Among those to watch for will be QB Drew Adams from High Point Central…..QB James Summers and RB Drew Rogers from Page will be a hand full for those on defense as well…..If you know of others that we should add to this list start the name-calling…..*****(Summers might be the hottest young prospect in our area for the upcoming season, since he will just be a junior and Rogers is not far behind….Adams will be a senior signal-caller.)
+++++Dudley should have RB’s Mycah Gaylord and Demetrious McCorkle set to catch passes out the backfield from QB Demetrious Dick….+++++

The word out here in Gibsonville is that the group of boys @ EG have been hitting the weights hard. I wonder if this work ethic will carry over into the saeson and if so what can we expect out of this group?
To Red Dogg: The number 1 question is… Who’s going to replace a kid like Morehead ?
It is hard to replace a kid like Morehead with one player. I do believe they have a handful of young athletes that aren’t far off and collectively can definitely pick up the slack if they work hard and together.
