Proehlific Power with two wooden bat wins improves to (5-0) on the season

Proehlific Power won a couple of wood bat games Sunday afternoon in Roanoke
defeating the Roanoke Rails, a collegiate league team, 15-5 and 10-1. In
the first game Proehlific was led by Craig Erskine and Jonathan wells who
had 3 hits each. Danny Casciano, Andrew Parker and Corey Shelton had 2 hits
each. D.J. Russ had 4 rbi’s. Brent Moore went the distance for the Power
giving up 9 hits and striking out 7.

In the 2nd game the Power won 10-1. The Power was led at the plate by Danny
Casciano, Heath Causey, Craig Erskine and Scott Wells who had 2 hits each.
Danny Casciano had 3 rbi’s. Justin Hunt went 6 innings giving up 4 hits and
striking out 5. The Power’s record is 5-0. Their next game is Tuesday and
Wednesday nights at Northern Guilford at 7:00. Tuesday they play Chatham
County and Wednesday they play the Kernersville Bulldogs.

  1. I just wonder is this team as good as teams in the past? I heard they were better the last 2 years and this is a team he had to put together at last minute. I was j just wondering i want to go try to catch them tom night. andy have you seen the Power play?

  2. Haven’t seen them play yet, but I hear they are better this year with added talent.

    I want to catch them when they play Asheboro at NewBridge Bank Park….

    That’s always a good game with Ronnie Pugh’s team….

    They have the Wells brothers this year, Danny Casiano and DJ Russ plus several others that were with them in the past…
