Edge ready to call it quits in two years: New home in Asheville suits him fine

from Jason Powell at www.prowrestling.net:

WWE star Edge (a/k/a Adam Copeland) discussed a home he purchased in Asheville, N.C. during an interview with the Asheville Citizen Times and said it could be his retirement home. “I’m coming up on my 20th year, and I’ve definitely had some injuries that have shortened my career,” Edge said.

“That’s part of the reason I bought up here — we want to retire and listen to the wind in the trees, and we want to do it fairly soon. I may have two more years. With each injury, it’s harder and harder to come back.” To read the full story, visit Citizen-Times.com

  1. As a guy who was a teen when Edge broke into the WWE as the silent guy, it is very hard to see Copeland as old. He doesn’t look all that old, but he’s had two major injuries and that does age you. If two years is his time frame, either he ought to team back up with Christian or have Christian be his final opponent. It would only be fitting.
