Power move to (8-0) with win over The Elks in Palomino Baseball action

Proehlific Power 9
The Elks 0

WP:David Francis
LP:Garrett Morgan
HR’s:Grand Slam-Craig Erskine(PP)…..Corey Shelton(PP) Solo HR……

The Proehlific Power now stand at (8-0) and their starting pitcher David Francis was nearly unhittable as his pitches came whistling across on each and every delivery….

  1. Trevor Brackett did not pitch in the game last night. He played shortstop for most of the game. Garrett Morgan was the starting pitcher for the Elk’s last night.

  2. Actually, it was a pretty good game as Garrett really held his own on the mound until he was hit in the leg by a line drive from Robbie McIntosh. After that, he could not maintain his regular mechanics. He was left in to finish that inning where most of the runs were scored. ELKS had some great plays in the field.

  3. Sorry for the miscue on the Morgan/Brackett deal guys….Was going by the red shoes and that is about all I had to go on early…

Thought that the Wyrick kid pitched well in relief for The Elks, Brandon Wyrick and he was throwing pretty decent considering he has been out of baseball for a while, according to my sources….

The game was fairly close except for the 7-run outburst by the Power at around the 3rd inning mark and that is where the Craig Erskine grand slam off of Morgan hurt The Elks….

Again, sorry for the pitcher mixup, but no PA and didn’t see any roster laying around and I had to get out of there in a hurry after the game to get this typed up and the break the Desean Anderson news on his going to the Red Sox….

Thanks for the response and continued success to both teams….
