Barry Hall said any win in the western American Legion division is a solid win, but did add he would like to see more people come out and support the area’s top baseball talent and to see “good baseball.â€
“They (Kernersville) are a good ball club and that’s what we are seeing now,†Hall said. “When we played High Point, we saw a kid(Desean Anderson/Ragsdale HS) who is headed to South Carolina and got drafted over the weekend, and he hit it over the right field light pole. I’ve been here a long time and I have never seen anyone hit it over the right field light pole. People in Surry County are missing out on some good baseball and seeing what it takes to be a D-1 player.â€
