  1. Andy,
Thank you for sharing this information with us, but it’s lucky this team is only a ceremonial tea. Does it appear that there is a slight bias toward the western half of the state. I am no urban geographer, but it’s hard for me to believe there are not some all-state performers in Wilson, Wilmington, Raleigh. This appears to be a team of the top players this group has either seen or just heard about, but definitely not the all-state team. Maybe it should be called an all-state team!
    Just my opinion!

  2. Three Guilford County kids on here with Crawford, Paula and Anderson and that is making an impact on our readership….

This is what the masses are looking for, how did Guilford County do today????

Those three young men have left their mark…..Crawford to UNCG, Paula to UNC, Anderson to the Boston Red Sox or to South Carolina…..

    It’s a good day in the neighborhood…..

  3. Congrads to the kids. Eddie you are right about one thing “just your opinion” and you have alot of those. “Some think it’s holding on that makes one strong; sometimes it’s letting go.” let it go Eddie just Congradulate the kids.

  4. Thanks “Charlie”. That’s my point exactly even though people like “good job” want to continue to heap those plaudits higher and higher no matter what. These teams mean absolutely nothing. It’s like NCPreps all-state team that recognizes about 100 players. All State should be the best 8 position players, a LH and RH starter, a reliever (or 2), plus a DH, and one additional IF and OF—-15-16 players statewide, not within a 90 mile radius of the home of the selection committee ( one person).

  5. Some of you are trying to push the envelope using other people’s names in making your comments….

Be careful, the game must go on, but it could go on without you…..
