Andrew Baranosky, Kall Daniel and Alex Suggs have committed to play baseball at Greensboro College, announced Pride Head Coach Matt Aker.
A native of Durham, N.C., Baranosky prepped at Southern Druham High School. A pitcher/third baseman, he played three years of high school ball for coach Randy Grissom. Baranosky was an all conference selection as catcher in the 2009 season.
Suggs arrives from Columbia, Md. and attended Oakland Mills High School. An honor student, he played four years of baseball for coach Rod Clifford. Suggs was an all county selection in his junior and senior seasons and is a pitcher/catcher.
Daniel, who will also play football for The Pride, is an outfielder from Brooksville, Fla. and Hernando High School.
He hit .303 with 16 RBI on the diamond as a senior. On the gridiron, Daniel completed 30-63 passes for 428 yards for a 7-3 Hernando team.
The trio join four previous Pirde baseball commits: Brandon Valentine, Jack Bishop, Tyler Beeby and Jonathan Krecicki.
Greensboro College is primarily an undergraduate college, also offering four master’s degrees. Coeducational and independent, the institution is located near downtown Greensboro. It was founded in 1838 and is affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
The college enrolls about 1,260 students from about 30 states, the District of Columbia and 21 nations. The school features a strong liberal-arts program and a 16-sport athletic program.
