NCAA investigation of UNC football continues, but focus narrows as practice approaches

Inside Carolina has learned more details into the NCAA investigation involving the North Carolina football program.

As Inside Carolina reported on Thursday, the investigation centers on possible improper benefits provided to seniors Marvin Austin, a defensive tackle, and Greg Little, a wide receiver, as well as several other NFL Draft prospects that elected to come back for the 2010 season. The NCAA inquired about benefits coming from non-University influences that included rent, jewelry and travel.

  1. Players have been getting ‘discounts’ from local businesses for years. unc better hope they don’t look to deep or that anyone comes forward.

    it is kinda odd that most schools lost many of there rising upperclassmen who were possible high draft picks yet ALL the projected high draft picks at unc chose to stay.
