  1. Mick, you are so right on with that statement….The height and length of the fireworks show were very impressive…..Almost as impressive as these stats that we have listed from the game….This most may be the most complete stats listing that I have ever seen from one game….

Long Live “The Elks” and the Bucking Elk himself, Cecil Carr……

  2. Andy,

Just curious, but did the East or West ever send the center out for a pass like we have seen at the 7 on 7’s this summer?

  3. Not a chance in last night’s game, since that would have created an illegal lineman down fiield.

In the 7 on 7’s I never saw the centers going out….For Page, when they were at Elon, James Summers, the QB was the center when the backup QB was out there for the Pirates…

It makes you wonder, if the QB per say and the center are not in the pass patterns in the 7 on 7’s, the defense has 7 men to cover 7….Maybe that makes the offense work harder, who knows…We’ll keep looking into it….

When I was watching some semipro 7 on 7’s a few years back, the center went out for a pass every time….The center was just another one of the receivers in the 7 on 7’s and it makes sense, if you are working on teh passing game, then get all of your receivers some reps…..
