Roberts and Greene commit to Greensboro College women’s hoops

Samantha Greene and Jalisa Roberts committed to play women’s basketball at Greensboro College, announced Randy Tuggle, The Pride’s head coach.

Greene is a junior transfer who played two years of junior college ball at Reedley (Calif.) College. She is 5-9 and plays forward and guard. Greene was an all-conference performer as a prep and played for the Comets AAU team. A native of Leemore, Calif., she attended Leemore High School. Samantha is the daughter of Nathaniel and Shelley Greene. She plans to study kinesiology at Greensboro College.

Roberts is a freshman guard from Mebane, N.C. and attended River Mill Academy. An all-conference selection, Roberts also made the A-B Honor Roll and was a member of the tennis team as a prep. Jalisa, who stands 5-3 and can play either back court spot, is the the daughter of Glenwood and Andra Robinson. She will study psychology at Greensboro College.
