The 2010 Class of 2010 Dr. Pepper ACC Football Championship Game Legends was named by the conference Tuesday afternoon, a group led by N.C. State’s career rushing leader, Ted Brown.

The players will be honored at the ACC Night of Legends event on Friday, Dec. 3, the night before the ACC Championship Game in Charlotte.

Brown is the only player in conference history to be named 1st-team All-ACC four consecutive seasons. When his college career ended in 1978, his 4,602 yards on the ground were the 4th most in the history of college football, a number that still resides at the top of the ACC record books to this day. His 49 rushing touchdowns are the most in conference history, and his marks for rushing yards in a season (1,350), career touchdowns (51), and longest run from scrimmage (95 yards), remain Wolfpack records.
