Based upon what I am seeing so far, the Word of the Week, in the early fooball practices would be, Technique….

Your technique is so important. It involves stance, how you come off the ball, timing, where you place your head when you make a tackle, how you use your body when you make a block, and the list goes on and on…

This is most important part of your fundamental football approach, your technique….

It goes back to the center-snap, how the QB receives the ball, how he releases the ball, how the receivers collect the ball when they make a catch, the angle the defenders take when they make a tackle, how you line up when you get to the line of scrimmage and the linemen’s splits, which talked about yesterday….(It even involves where and how you place your hands down, when you come up to the line of scrimmage.)

It all goes back to the proper technique and that is what the coaches are trying to teach this week…..
