Greensboro College football picked to finish fifth in the USAS Poll

Maryville, Tenn. – Greensboro College was picked to finish tied for fifth in the upcoming football season, according to a poll of conference coaches.

Defending champion NC Wesleyan topped the voting with 45 points. The poll was released as part of the 2010 USA South football media day.

The Pride was tied for third in the USAS last year. GC went 4-3 in conference play and after vacating two early-season victories finished 4-4 overall.

The 2010 season gets underway for The Pride on Sept. 4. The Pride travels to Guilford to play in the 14th Gate City Soup Bowl.
