Good work by our Kernersville American Legion Post 36 team

Kernersville American Legion Post 36 has advanced to the 3rd round of the Regional finals in Columbia, Tenn.

They beat Sumter, SC in 12 innings to remain undefeated. The team is made up of high school and college players from East Forsyth, Northwest, Southwest and Elon to name a few. If they win in Tenn they will advance to the American Legion World Series in Spokane, Washington.

Player’s include Alex Swim (Elon), Corey McKInney, Nathan Becker(Northwest),Evan Orenstein, Landon O’Dell and Garrett Anderson (East Forsyth). You can follow their progress at www.baseball.legion.org/baseball/gametracker/southeast
