Partner in “Price Is Right’ Benefit

Wives Association
What: Wishes by Wyndham, the PGA TOUR Wives Association and
Furnitureland South have partnered on a “Price Is Right” fundraising event
to benefit local charities. The three host organizations will be presenting
a total donation of $25,000 to First Tee of the Triad and Victory Junction.
CBS commentator, Peter Oosterhuis will emcee the
event which includes prizes totaling over $30,000 in Home Furnishings.

Why: The Wyndham Championship, held at the historic
Sedgefield Country Club August 16 through August 22, is incorporating
various charitable giving programs into the week’s events.
Wishes by Wyndham is Wyndham Worldwide’s charitable giving program. The
Company
supports children around the world through in-kind donations, volunteer
hours and by raising both
awareness and funds for likeminded organizations.
First Tee of the Triad is a non-profit organization whose mission is to
impact the lives of young people by providing the facilities and educational
programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values
through the game of golf.
Victory Junction is a not-for-profit organization offering a year-round
camping environment for children ages six to sixteen with chronic medical
conditions or serious illnesses. The camp was established in 2004 by NASCAR
driver Kyle Petty and his wife Pattie in honor of their son, Adam, with the
goal to provide life-changing camping experiences that are exciting, fun and
empowering, in a safe and medically-sound environment.
