Page Field Hockey makes history on Tuesday night at Kirby Stadium

A little piece of “new” Page Athletic history happened last night at Page High School:

Page’s Women’s Field Hockey defeated East Forsyth 1 to 0 at Kirby Stadium to record their first ever victory.

Lindsay Hargett scored the first ever Page goal at the 17 minutes and 19 seconds
mark in the second half.

Page will host RJ Reynolds in Kirby Stadium on Thursday evening.

*****For those that haven’t seen the playing field at Kirby Stadium this season, you need to, because it is in great shape and it has the look of a turf field…..The crew that prepared the field prior to the Page-WS Parkland game deserves a standing ovation….The lines and numbers on the field at Kirby Stadium, gave the appearance of a Division I college football/multi-purpose facility…..

The field looks great and the Pirate teams are looking good too….Be sure to sure to check out the girl’s/women’s field hockey on Thursday and the men will be hosting the Davie County War Eagles in football, at/on “The Kirb”, Friday night…..*****
