  1. Seems to be as predicted…….no GCS schools will be contending for State Championships in major sports once again. Congrats to Smith on their improvement, but their convincing victory over Dudley confirms that no one for GCS will challenge for state titles. Thanks Mo Green and Jill Wilson!

  2. Haha! So in other words, because Dudley loses no other team in Guilford County is capable of making a deep run in the playoffs? Dude you can’t be serious!

Smith, HPC, Page, Ragdale, Northern Guilford, and yes even Dudley are all good teams who have as good of a shot as anybody to make a run at championship.

Sorry your boys lost, but you aren’t the end-all be-all in Guilford county football.

  3. Not sure about the 3A level but having seen Smith, Dudley and Durham Hillside play my money is on Hillside for the small 4A. Not that Dudley or Smith are not capable of making a deep run but i just think Hillside is better at this point. Dudley I feel is just a few adjustment on Offense away from being a late season threat!

  4. Afterthought, there is a world outside of east Florida and east Lee streets. I still think Page can do something as well as Smith. Ragsdale is pretty good but may be a year away. HPC could make a run. Who would have thought NEG would go as far as they did last year? Dudley is far from dead but they aren’t the only team around here. Smith got better just be keeping their own kids in district. A lot of Dudley talent came out of that district.

  5. If Northern Destroys EA (like I think they will do) will they be a contender? I think so. Watch the Nighthawks!!!!!!

  6. Outstanding point you have there beyond lee street, and . . . . . the chickens are on their way home to roost. Things will be changing and lee and lincoln st gang wont be apart of it for a bit . . . . . .just watch and C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good run from the former Page staff / players. U git what u deserve and none too soon ! Ya’ll fell in luv with it and now you about to bite da bullit.Congratulations !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
