On Monday, the University of North Carolina’s student newspaper published an editorial board opinion column stating the era of Butch Davis as head coach should end at the same time as the football season. The Daily Tar Heel’s official stance – “it is clear that Davis has failed as an executive, as the buck stops with him.”
Athletics Director Dick Baddour responded in the form of a letter to the editor and was published this morning.

They will fire him right after NCSU game where we beat them by 4 touchdowns. When Hardin, the worst, most UNC biased sportswriter in the nation says you should be gone then it is time to go.

Ed Hardin is about as far from a UNC fan as you can get. No idea where you are coming up with that one.
