On Saturday, Oct. 9, the Greensboro College women’s soccer team hosts NC Wesleyan at 2 p.m. It will be an eventful day, as it’s also senior day, Pride Packs the Place and will play host to the first phase of The Pride’s recognition of breast cancer awareness month.

Four seniors: Katie Allegro (Statesville, NC/West Iredell ), Michelle Reger (Mahopac, N.Y./Mahopac), Katie Timmons (Middletown, Del./William Penn) and Kelli Viana (Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream South) will be recognized prior to the match. There will also be a surprise performer for the pre-game national anthem.

At halftime, there will be a contest sponsored by GC’s student-athlete advisory committee.

Fans will also have the opportunity to make a donation to “Kicks Against Cancer.” For a $20 donation, you will get a t-shirt for breast cancer awareness.
