New NASCAR HOF class with Pearson, Petty, Allison, Jarrett and Moore

The second NASCAR Hall of Fame class was announced today, and due to be inducted are; David Pearson, Lee Petty, Bobby Allison, Ned Jarrett and Bud Moore……But, NO Darrell Waltrip, who had been campaigning hard to get in….Four drivers and one team owner and no currrent administrators or TV/Radio people….

  1. I was hoping that with all the talk about diversity ect…that Wendell Scott would have been at least in the second class.

    It’s a long story on Wendell for those of you who don’t know him..google it.

    The nascar hall of fame (lower case intentionally) should take into considertion his accomplishment to win and perform with out all the perks the other guys had and the racism he endured as well and how much better and many more wins he probably would have had if all was equal.

    Richard Pryor played Wendell in Grease Lightning…they should re-make that movie

    Disappointed…Someone should start a web site Wendell Scott for Hall of Fame

    I would like to see a remake of the movie Grease Lightning too….
