Greensboro College soccer coach resigns

Greensboro College Athletics Director Jean Lojko announced that Giovanni Vlahos has resigned as The Pride’s head men’s soccer coach. Vlahos coached GC the past two years and compiled a 7-24-4 record. In the recently completed 2010 season, Greensboro finished 3-13-3 and 0-4-2 in USA South contests.

“We appreciate all that Coach Vlahos has done for Greensboro College and wish him the best of luck,” Lojko said. “We now will begin a national search for a new coach who can bring us back to regional and national prominence.”
