Greensboro College Athletics Director Jean Lojko announced that Giovanni Vlahos has resigned as The Pride’s head men’s soccer coach. Vlahos coached GC the past two years and compiled a 7-24-4 record. In the recently completed 2010 season, Greensboro finished 3-13-3 and 0-4-2 in USA South contests.
“We appreciate all that Coach Vlahos has done for Greensboro College and wish him the best of luck,†Lojko said. “We now will begin a national search for a new coach who can bring us back to regional and national prominence.â€
