Guilford College Athletics update

Guilford’s men’s basketball team lost to Emory Saturday, 69-61, in the
championship game of the Hilton Garden Inn Invitational. Josh Pittman paced
three Quakers in double-figure scoring with 11 points. Follow the link below

On Friday, Pittman hit for a career-high 23 points, which helped Guilford

The Quakers’ women’s basketball team opened its home schedule Saturday with
a 75-46 nonconference win over Meredith Saturday. Morgan King led Guilford
with a career-high 14 points. Jazlyn Gibbs and Logan Terry both added 13

Guilford’s women’s swimming team placed fourth among eight teams at the
Randolph-Macon Yellow Jacket Invitational Friday and Saturday in Ashland,
Va. Susanna Herrick’s fifth-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle was
Guilford’s top individual performance. Follow the link below for results

Junior Derick Kosgei placed 101st among 279 runners at the NCAA Division III
Cross Country Championships in Waverly, Iowa. Kosgei completed the
eight-kilometer course in 25:28.1, which was the third-fastest time among
