Brian Green (Stuart, FL/Martin County) of Greensboro College was selected to play in the D3 Senior Classic football game. The contest is Friday night in Salem, Va. at 7 p.m.

A senior defensive end, Green had 79 tackles and team-bests for sacks (4 for 26 yards) and tackles for loss (12 for 59). Green closed his career fifth all-time in tackles for loss (116).

The second annual all-star game includes some 90 Division III football student-athletes from across the country. Last year, Andreas Platt (Greensboro, NC/Ragsdale) and Brandon Richardson (Charlotte, NC/West Charlotte) represented The Pride at the game.

The game will be broadcast live and archived over the internet by www.knoxivi.com
