  1. Played our best game yet! Caldwell is not ready for the big time game the roster changes indicate they may be gunning for.

  2. Is that the same Eric Carter that was @ ORMA? If so, can private school transfers play immediately if they live in the school where they attend?

  3. Fcds lost to char christian 84-59
HPCA beat Southlake Christian 74-25, sadly i heard that couldve been a lot worse.
Think wesleyan beat Calvary by about 40

  4. Carter Gourley was a senior last year and he has graduated from Grimsley and Eric Carter has returned to Ragsdale from Oak Ridge and everything checks out….Did not play on Monday. Has been cleared and played last night and D’onavan Smith is back after football injury slowed his start to the basketball season….

  5. Over-matched against Greensboro Day School….Caldwell will be much stronger in about two years when Matt Uchedike and Brett Manning are seniors, but until then they will be experiencing some growing pains….

Uchedike and Emeka Ikezu held their own inside but the GDS were able to eat up the young backcourt players from Caldwell…..Caldwell at one time had at 3-4 freshmen on the court….Coach sat down most of his top with senior Ben Bell included and went with the younger guys to give them a chance to be thrown into the fire and to let the older guys sit back and see what was going on out there….

GDS started a smaller lineup with 4 guards…..Jalen Ross, John Terry, Reed Lucas, Robert Kleinman and Jaleel Roberts…..

  6. GDS did look good. But I am concerned about the Williams kid. He looked very disinterested last night. I think they need him to be good to beat the best teams. PG play looked better, but big test coming up next week at Ravenscroft. They probably have the best set of guards in the state.

  7. Greensboro Day went with a different big-man rotation last night with Roberts, then Robertson and then Williams…..They didn’t mix the big-men in together as much as usual and maybe it was the opponent….There were a lot blocks last night from both teams, with Caldwell’s big two sending several back and GDS was rejecting most of the shots that came inside from the young Caldwell guards…..Roberts blocked one shot with his fist and it made the sound of a volleyball spike….They were returning them to sender last night and a few of lunch crashers(he made him eat that one) ended up in the front row of the crowd and in the bench area…..

  8. I was at the NC Phenom 150 and Bob Gibbons Fall evaluation. When I read the reports that came out of those events I wondered if I missed too much when I went to the restroom.
